  15. <p>     DIED. R.J. REYNOLDS III, 60, a grandson of the founder of the
  16. tobacco company that bears his name; of emphysema and congestive
  17. heart failure after a lifetime of cigarette smoking; at his
  18. home in Pinehurst, North Carolina. Known as "Josh," the oldest
  19. of four children, Reynolds had interests ranging from poetry
  20. to philanthropy to Thoroughbred horses. Attendees at his memorial
  21. service were asked to pass up flowers in favor of donations
  22. to Citizens for a Smokefree America, the antismoking group founded
  23. by Josh's half brother Patrick.
